Al termine del corso lo studente possiede una conoscenza di base delle principali correnti e degli autori più influenti del panorama letterario della Cina moderna e contemporanea, e della sinofonia, oltre che del contesto storico-culturale cinese, dalla fine dell’età imperiale ai giorni nostri.

La didattica si svolgerà tramite lezioni frontali, con l’ausilio di presentazioni power point e videoproiezioni. Vi sarà un'attenzione particolare al confronto e al dialogo diretto con gli studenti, che potranno, durante le lezioni, formulare proposte di approfondimento o dibattito.
La prova d'esame di fine corso si svolgerà in forma scritta al fine di verificare l'acquisizione da parte degli studenti dei contenuti dell'insegnamento. La valutazione sarà espressa in trentesimi.
Per gli studenti frequentanti sarà possibile acquisire parte dei crediti d’esame attraverso la presentazione, durante le lezioni, di approfondimenti relativi ad aspetti storici o letterari degli argomenti affrontati nel corso della didattica. Tali interventi saranno da concordare con la docente.

The course aims at providing a basic knowledge of the principal trends and the most influential authors of modern and contemporary Chinese and Sinophone literature. In addition, an overview of the historical and cultural context from the fall of the empire to nowadays will be part of the course.

Two readings selected from a list of works published on the e-learning course.
Additional materials will be published on the e-learning page.
The teaching will be conducted through lectures, power point presentations and videos, with a special focus on dialogue with the students, who will be encouraged to stimulate further discussions and debates, during lectures.
The final test will consist in a written exam which will assess the knowledge and understanding of the subjects discussed during the course. The final evaluation will be expressed in thirtieths.
Students attending the course can acquire part of the credits by proposing researches on historical or literary aspects of the subjects discussed during the course. These presentations must be agreed and scheduled with the teacher.
