Conoscenza delle nozioni di base della grammatica.
Fornire le nozioni e le conoscenze operative di base per l'analisi del linguaggio verbale umano nelle sue componenti e nelle sue dimensioni di variazione sociale e storica. La preparazione così fornita costituisce lo sfondo di conoscenze imprescindibili per la formazione dell'esperto di lingue straniere.
Caratteristiche fondamentali del linguaggio umano. Nozioni di fonetica e fonologia. Morfologia e sintassi. Elementi di semantica.
Lezione frontale con esercitazioni.
Nelle lezioni si utilizzano materiali che riprendono il testo 1 con esempi tratti anche dalle lingue orientali.
Per la VERIFICA dell'apprendimento lo studente può scegliere tra una modalità scritta e una orale.
MODALITA' SCRITTA: disponibile nel primo e nel terzo appello della sessione estiva. Test di 24 domande chiuse che richiedono la definizione di nozioni o l'applicazione delle conoscenze acquisite su casi concreti di produzione linguistica. Tempo a disposizione: un'ora e mezza.
MODALITA' ORALE: Disponibili in tutti gli appelli. Colloquio di cinque domande aperte su nozioni e sulla loro applicazione a casi concreti di produzione linguistica.
VALUTAZIONE DELLA MODALITA' SCRITTA: Il voto in trentesimi risulta dalla divisione per 8 del punteggio conseguito in ciascuna risposta. Il punteggio massimo è 10, attribuito a risposte massimamente accurate.
VALUTAZIONE DELLA MODALITA' ORALE: Il voto in trentesimi risulta dalla divisione per 6 del punteggio conseguito in ciascuna risposta. Il punteggio massimo è 10, attribuito a risposte massimamente accurate.
L'accesso ai contenuti dell'esame può essere differenziato a seconda che si abbia avuto modo di frequentare le lezioni del docente o no, come qui indicato:
a) FREQUENTANTI: materiali e appunti delle lezioni.
b) NON-FREQUENTANTI: testo 1, capitoli 1-7.
Nota Bene: Qualora l'insegnamento venisse impartito in modalità mista o a distanza potranno essere introdotte
modifiche rispetto a quanto dichiarato nel syllabus per rendere il corso e gli esami fruibili anche
secondo queste modalità.
Basic knowledge of grammar notions.
Provide operative notions and basic knowledge for the analysis of verbal
human language in its components and in the dimensions of its social
and historical variation. The acquired knowledge is an indispensable
requisite in the instruction of experts in foreign languages.
Basic characteristics of human language. Notions of phonetics and phonology. Morphology and syntax. Elements of semantics.
Lectures with exercises.
Hand-outs used in lectures illustrate the content of text 1 and comprise
examples drawn from oriental languages.
The student may choose between two modalities of examination of his
achievements: a written test or an oral interview.
WRITTEN TEST MODALITY: written tests are available only in the first and
third examination of the summer session. They comprise 24 closed
questions on definition of notions and application of the acquired
knowledge to actual cases of language production. Time available for
completion: one hour and a half.
ORAL INTERVIEW MODALITY: available in all examinations. Interview with
five open questions on definition of notions and application of the
acquired knowledge to actual cases of language production.
ASSESSMENT OF THE WRITTEN TEST: the mark in 30th results from
division by 8 of the scores obtained in the answers. The maximum score
for each answer is 10, attributed to accurate answers.
ASSESSMENT OF THE ORAL INTERVIEW: the mark in 30th results from
division by 6 of the scores obtained in the answers. The maximum score
for each answer is 10, attributed to accurate answers.
The access to the content matters of the examination may be
differentiated according to the possibility of attending the professor's
lectures as follows:
a) ATTENDING STUDENTS: hand-outs and notes of lectures.
b) NON-ATTENDING STUDENTS: Text 1, chapters 1-7.
Nota Bene: Should the course be taught in mixed mode or at a distance, what stated in the syllabus may be modified in order to make the course and the exams possible also according to these modalities.
