The main aims are:
- to develop knowledge, competences and skills to operate and develop strategic planning for international business;
- to help the students to develop an understanding of possible international and global strategies.
The students will gain an understanding of International Business Management specific topics that on the one hand allow to have a better view of the most recent trends in international business, on the other hand will allow them to dig deeper into key aspects of doing business internationally.
The course will use a mix of lectures, on-line simulation, discussions, in-class case study analysis and reading, critique and synthesis of the literature.

If you actively participate in the online live lessons (75%) the grading system will be as follows:
80%:
Weighted Average of grades obtained on Team activities in live lessons:

Please note: good part of the team activities will be performed in class, however some homework is needed. When team activities are done the contribution of each team member must be clearly identified (instructions will be given in class).
20%: 15 Multiple Choice Questions on the list of readings-Bettinelli (during the official exam date)
If you watch recorded lessons/individual study:
80%: written exam
[during the official exam dates] made of 3 open question (with maximum 3 sub-questions each) where theory (taken from the reading list) must be merged with practical examples. Practical examples must be found and must be
a) original (i.e., not taken from the moodle page of the course),
b) pertinent (i.e., representative of the major contents of each paper),
c) updated (i.e., referred to cases/events not older than 2015)
Please note: the instructor is available for checks of your research on practical examples before the exam (by appointment).
