Fornire una conoscenza delle istituzioni e dei meccanismi dell'Unione europea in grado di permettere allo studente di cogliere tutti i riferimenti al contesto europeo presenti nel corso di studi. Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di comprendere il funzionamento dell'Unione europea attraverso l'esame sia della giurisprudenza della Corte di giustizia sia delle varie politiche settoriali.
Il presente corso ha per oggetto lo studio del diritto dell'Unione europea. Pertanto, sebbene l'Unione europea costituisca un fenomeno non solo giuridico, ma anche economico, sociale, culturale e politico, nel corso delle presenti lezioni ci occuperemo prevalentemente, se non esclusivamente, dell'aspetto giuridico. In quest'ottica, quindi, dopo alcune lezioni introduttive, indispensabili per contestualizzare in chiave storica il fenomeno di cui dobbiamo occuparci, lo studio del diritto dell'Unione europea avverrà attraverso l'esame: a) del quadro istituzionale; b) delle procedure interistituzionali; c) dell'ordinamento giuridico dell'Unione europea; d) dei rapporti tra l'ordinamento giuridico dell'Unione europea e gli ordinamenti giuridici nazionali; e) del sistema di tutela giurisdizionale; f) delle norme che regolano le c.d. quattro libertà fondamentali; g) delle norme in materia di concorrenza (regole applicabili alle imprese e agli Stati.
Al termine del corso lo studente avrà acquisito la competenza per confrontarsi direttamente con la legislazione dell'Unione europea e per comprendere i complessi meccanismi che governano l'azione politica dell'Unione europea.

Qualora l'insegnamento venisse impartito in modalità mista o a distanza potranno essere introdotte modifiche rispetto a quanto dichiarato nel syllabus per rendere il corso e gli esami fruibili anche secondo queste modalità.
Test scritto a scelte multiple. Nessun esame orale. 30 domande/30 minuti. 1 punto per ogni risposta esatta. Nessuna penalità per risposte errate o in bianco. Per superare l'esame lo studente deve rispondere correttamente ad almeno 17 domande. Stesse modalità di esame per studenti frequentanti e non frequentanti.
Gli esiti dell'esame saranno resi disponibili non appena ultimate le operazioni di caricamento dei risultati.
Per gli studenti del corso MANAGEMENT, INNOVAZIONE E FINANZA [165-270] il programma di esame è quello previsto per gli studenti di Giurisprudenza con le seguenti ulteriori esclusioni:
G. Strozzi, Diritto dell’Unione europea, parte speciale, capitolo VI e capitolo VII.
Le modalità di esame restano uguali a quelle previste per gli studenti di Giurisprudenza.
In caso di disposizioni dell'Autorità competenti in materia di contenimento dell'epidemia, l'insegnamento potrebbe subire modifiche rispetto a quanto dichiarato nel syllabus per rendere il corso e gli esami in linea con quanto disposto.

To provide knowledge of the institutions and mechanisms of the EU so as to allow students to better understand every reference made to the EU in his or her academic programme. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand how EU works, analyzing critically the case-law as well as the different European policies.
The course is aimed at offering a general introduction to the study of the law of the European union. For this reasons, although at presently the European Union may be analyzed not only from a juridical perspective, but also from a political, social, cultural and economic perspective, the issues dealt with during the lessons will be scrutinized mostly from a juridical point of view. To this regard, after a few introductory lessons aimed at contextualizing the birth and growth of the European integration from an historical point of view, we will deal with the following issues: a) the institutions of the European Union b) the legislative procedures c) the legal system of the European Union d) the relationship between the legal system of the European union and legal systems of Member States e) the judicial remedies system f) the so-called four freedoms (free movement of goods, persons, services and capitals) g) the competition law (rules applicable to undertakings and States).
At the end of the course the student will have acquired the competence to deal directly with the legislation of the European Union and to understand the complex mechanisms that govern the political action of the European Union.

If the teaching is given in a mixed or remote mode, changes may be introduced with respect to what is stated in the syllabus to make the course and exams usable also in these ways.
Written multiple choice test. No oral exam. 30 questions/30 minutes. 1 point for each right answer. No penalty for wrong or white answers. To pass the exam the student must get 17 right answers at least. Same test for attending and non-attending students.
The results of the exam will be made available as soon as the results upload operations have been completed.
For students of the MANAGEMENT, INNOVATION AND FINANCE [165-270] course, the exam program is the same of Law students excluding:
G. Strozzi, European Union law, special part, chapter VI and chapter VII.
The examination methods remain the same as those provided for law students.
In the event of provisions of the competent Authority regarding the containment of the epidemic, the teaching could undergo changes with respect to what is stated in the syllabus to make the course and exams in line with the provisions.
