Preferibilmente anche i contenuti di base di Gestione Aziendale e di Gestione delle Operations.
Il corso si focalizza sulla gestione dei progetti come meccanismo per la gestione dell'innovazione e come sistema per la gestione delle attività correnti.
Al termine del corso lo studente ha le conoscenze di base ed avanzate per organizzare, pianificare e controllare un progetto e per gestire tutti i processi connessi ad esso. In particolare conosce le dinamiche e le criticità nella gestione di un progetto, gli strumenti di pianificazione (scope statement, WBS, RAM, Gantt Diagram, Network Diagram), gli strumenti per la gestione degli stakeholder e dei rischi, gli strumenti per il controllo di un progetto tramite la metodologia EVMS, le tecniche di valutazione economica e finanziaria di un progetto, le modalità di organizzazione e di gestione di un team.
Il corso contribuisce agli obiettivi formativi del corso di studi, in particolare per quanto riguarda l’area Economico-Gestionale.
Il corso è costituito da due moduli con la seguente ripartizione dei contenuti:
ESSENTIALS
LA GESTIONE DEI PROGETTI E L’INNOVAZIONE: Innovazione continua e a impulso. Tipologie di innovazione. Tipologie di progetti. Progetti su commessa e progetti di sviluppo di nuovi prodotti e servizi. Progetti e processi ripetitivi
IL PROJECT MANAGEMENT: L’organizzazione di progetto. Forme organizzative e il ruolo del project manager. La gestione dei team di progetto. Principi di gestione: l’anticipazione dei vincoli e il ricorso alla flessibilità.
IL LIFE CYCLE DI PROGETTO: Il concetto di life cycle di progetto. Fasi e processi di gestione di progetto. Initiating, Planning, Controlling & Executing, Closing.
LA GESTIONE DELLO SCOPE DI PROGETTO: Lo scope management, La Work Breakdown Structure, la Responsibility Assignment Matrix.
METODOLOGIE DI PIANIFICAZIONE: le Tecniche Reticolari, Il Project Evaluation and Review Technique, il Critical Path Method. Applicazione mediante MS Project delle principali tecniche di pianificazione.
ADVANCED
IL CONTROLLO DI PROGETTO: l’Earned Value Management System, stime al completamento. Applicazione mediante MS Project delle principali tecniche di controllo.
LA GESTIONE DEI RISCHI DI PROGETTO: Il processo di gestione dei rischi, la valutazione quantitativa dei rischi, la gestione delle mitigazioni e delle contingency.
LA GESTIONE DEGLI STAKEHOLDER DI PROGETTO: Identificazione degli stakeholder, Il modello della salience, Metodi di gestione degli stakeholder
LA VALUTAZIONE ECONOMICO-FINANZIARIA DI PROGETTO: La stima dei costi di progetto, L’applicazione di metodi finanziari alla valutazione di progetto.
L’AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Metodi agili per la gestione di progetto, Il metodo SCRUM

L’agile project management
Ogni area prevederà l’utilizzo di diverse modalità di svolgimento delle attività didattiche tra cui:
Fruizione di contenuti a distanza mediante libri di testo e/o video (20% del corso)
Lezioni frontali (30% del corso)
Esercitazioni (30% del corso)
Testimonianze aziendali (10% del corso)
Laboratori (10% del corso)
La verifica dell’apprendimento avviene in due modalità a seconda che lo studente affronti il corso come frequentante o come non frequentante
Studente frequentante
La verifica è svolta mediante:
Knowledge Based Test individuale (10% del voto finale). All’inizio di ogni lezione sarà svolta una prova basata sullo studio di determinate parti del libro di testo o di dispense fornite dal docente o di video-lezioni fornite dal docente.
Assignment individuali e di gruppo (10% del voto finale). Durante lo svolgimento delle lezioni saranno condotti lavori individuali e di gruppo sui diversi argomenti del corso.
Project Work di gruppo (40% del voto finale). Durante il corso sarà sviluppato un project work di gruppo focalizzato ad analizzare un progetto reale scelto dagli studenti utilizzando le metodologie viste a lezione. Gli studenti dovranno consegnare i seguenti deliverable: una presentazione in MS Power Point, uno scope statement (basato su un template fornito) una pianificazione tempi/costi, l'analisi dei rischi e degli stakeholder. Gli studenti avranno a disposizione 20 minuti per presentare il loro progetto al termine del corso.
Learning Verification Test individuale (40% del voto finale). Tale test sarà svolto mediante un colloquio orale individuale della durata indicativa di 15-30 minuti. Durante il colloquio orale saranno sottoposte domande teoriche o pratiche mediante lo svolgimento di esercizi.
Studente non frequentante
La verifica è svolta mediante un Learning Verification Test individuale (100% del voto finale). Tale test sarà svolto mediante una prova scritta durante gli appelli regolari (durata della prova di circa 2 ore) e un colloquio orale individuale della durata indicativa di 15-30 minuti.
Gli studenti non frequentanti possono prepararsi utilizzando i testi indicati in bibliografia e utilizzando le dispense come indice dettagliato degli argomenti.
Per gli studenti frequentanti solo il modulo di Gestione dell’Innovazione e dei Progetti – Essentials.
Studente frequentante
La verifica è svolta mediante:

La verifica è svolta mediante un Learning Verification Test individuale (100% del voto finale). Tale test sarà svolto mediante una prova scritta durante gli appelli regolari (durata della prova di circa 1 ore) e un colloquio orale individuale della durata indicativa di 15-30 minuti.
Gli studenti non frequentanti possono prepararsi utilizzando i testi indicati in bibliografia e utilizzando le dispense come indice dettagliato degli argomenti.
Qualora l'insegnamento venisse impartito in modalità mista o a distanza potranno essere introdotte modifiche rispetto a quanto dichiarato nel syllabus per rendere il corso e gli esami fruibili anche secondo queste modalità.
All'inizio del corso, mediante la piattaforma elearning, sarà fornito il calendario delle lezioni con indicazione esplicita di quali parti dei libri di testo adottare per la preparazione delle singole lezioni.

The course focuses on project management as a mechanism for managing innovation and as a system for managing current activities.
At the end of the course the student has the basic and advanced knowledge to organize, plan and control a project and to manage all the processes related to it. In particular, he knows the dynamics and critical issues in the management of a project, the planning tools (scope statement, WBS, RAM, Gantt Diagram, Network Diagram), the tools for managing stakeholders and risks, the tools for controlling a project through the EVMS methodology, the economic and financial evaluation techniques of a project, the organization and management methods of a team.
The course contributes to the educational objectives of the course of study, in particular as regards the Economic-Management area.
The course consists of two modules with the following content breakdown:
1. ESSENTIALS
- PROJECT INNOVATION AND MANAGEMENT: Continuous and impulse innovation. Types of innovation. Types of projects. Custom projects and development new products and services. Repetitive projects and processes
- THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT: The project organization. Organizational forms and the role of the project manager. Project team management. Management principles: front loading and the use of flexibility.
- THE PROJECT LIFE CYCLE: The concept of the project life cycle. Project management phases and processes. Initiating, Planning, Controlling & Executing, Closing.
- SCOPE MANAGEMENT: Scope management, Work Breakdown Structure, Responsibility Assignment Matrix.
- PLANNING METHODOLOGIES: Network Techniques, Project Evaluation and Review Technique, Critical Path Method. Application through MS Project of the main planning techniques.
2. ADVANCED
- PROJECT CONTROL: the Earned Value Management System, estimation at completion. Application through MS Project of the main control techniques.
- PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT: The risk management process, the quantitative risk assessment, the management of mitigations and contingencies.
- PROJECT STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Stakeholder identification, The salience model, Stakeholder management methods
- THE ECONOMIC-FINANCIAL EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT: The estimate of the project costs, The application of financial methods to the project evaluation.
- L 'AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Agile methods for project management, The SCRUM method

Each area will use of different methods of carrying out teaching activities including:
- Remote use of content through textbooks and / or video (20% of the course)
- Lectures (30% of the course)
- Exercises (30% of the course)
- Company testimonials (10% of the course)
- Laboratories (10% of the course)
The learning verification takes place in two ways depending on whether the student faces the course as attending or as not attending
Attending student
The verification is carried out by:
- Individual Knowledge Based Test (10% of the final mark). At the beginning of each lesson, a test will be conducted based on the study of certain parts of the textbook or lecture notes provided by the teacher or video lessons provided by the teacher.
- Individual and group assignments (10% of the final mark). During the lessons, individual and group work will be conducted on the various topics of the course.
- Group Project Work (40% of the final grade). During the course a group project work will be developed focused on analyzing a real project chosen by the students using the methodologies seen in class. Students will have to deliver the following deliverables: a presentation in MS Power Point, a scope statement (based on a template provided), a time / cost planning, risk and stakeholder analysis. Students will have 20 minutes to present their project at the end of the course.
- Individual Learning Verification Test (40% of the final mark). This test will be carried out through an individual oral interview lasting approximately 15-30 minutes. During the oral examination, theoretical or practical questions will be submitted by carrying out exercises.
Non-attending student
The verification is carried out through an individual Learning Verification Test (100% of the final mark). This test will be carried out by means of a written test during the regular sessions (duration of the test of approximately 2 hours) and an individual oral interview of an indicative duration of 15-30 minutes.
Non-attending students can prepare using the texts indicated in the bibliography and using the handouts as a detailed index of the topics.
For attending students only the module of Project and Innovation Management - Essentials.

The verification is carried out by:

Non-attending student
The verification is carried out through an individual Learning Verification Test (100% of the final mark). This test will be carried out by means of a written test during the regular sessions (duration of the test of approximately 1 hours) and an individual oral interview of an indicative duration of 15-30 minutes.
Non-attending students can prepare using the texts indicated in the bibliography and using the handouts as a detailed index of the topics.
If the teaching is taught in mixed mode or remotely, changes can be made compared to what is stated in the syllabus to make the course and exams accessible also in these ways.
At the beginning of the course, through the elearning platform, the calendar of lessons will be provided with an explicit indication of which parts of the textbooks to adopt for the preparation of the individual lessons.
