Conoscenze di base in Psicometria, Psicologia Dinamica, Psicologia Clinica e Psicopatologia.
Al termine del corso lo studente possiede:
a) una comprensione critica degli elementi che orientano la scelta di alcuni dei principali test psicologici e strumenti diagnostici utilizzati in ambito clinico, psicoterapeutico e peritale;
b) le competenze tecniche iniziali necessarie per raccogliere, codificare e interpretare le risposte ai test MMPI-2 e Rorschach;
c) una conoscenza degli elementi teorico-clinici che guidano nella formulazione del caso e nella restituzione, nei vari ambiti di applicazione, dei risultati dei test presentati.
Teoria dell’Assessment collaborativo quale quadro di riferimento per il processo diagnostico e per l’utilizzo dei test; somministrazione, siglatura e principi di interpretazione di MMPI-2 e Rorschach; formulazione del caso a partire dai risultati ai test e ipotesi di utilizzo nell'intervento clinico.
Il corso si articola in lezioni frontali e laboratori pratici sulla somministrazione, siglatura e interpretazione dei test oggetto del corso.
È possibile, inoltre, svolgere un’esercitazione al di fuori delle ore del corso consistente nella somministrazione di uno dei test studiati e nella sua trascrizione, codifica e interpretazione scritta. Per chi interessato è possibile compilare il test MMPI-2 e riceverne il profilo in maniera anonima.
La verifica del raggiungimento degli obiettivi avviene attraverso una prova scritta finale di due ore, strutturata in tre parti: la prima, valutata fino a 10 punti, consiste nella codifica delle risposte ad alcune tavole Rorschach; la seconda parte, valutata fino ad 11 punti, consiste nell'interpretazione di un protocollo MMPI-2 o Rorschach; la terza parte consiste in 5 quesiti a risposta aperta, valutati ciascuno fino a 2 punti, inerenti le conoscenze teoriche di base sul processo diagnostico e sui test oggetto del corso.
Data la natura tecnica e professionalizzante del corso possono frequentarlo e sostenere il relativo esame solo gli studenti iscritti ad un Corso di Laurea in Psicologia, come indicato nel Codice deontologico degli Psicologi Italiani (articolo 21).
Ai fini dell’apprendimento esperienziale e non solo teorico proposto è particolarmente consigliata la frequenza delle lezioni e dei laboratori, anche se non obbligatoria e non necessaria per il superamento dell’esame. È inoltre consigliato a tutti gli studenti prendere visione presso la sezione della biblioteca riservata ai test psicologici del materiale e dei manuali di cui sono costituiti i test presentati a lezione.
Gli studenti di lingua non italiana e quelli non frequentanti possono contattare il docente per discutere attività e strategie a supporto dell'apprendimento.
Il corso potrebbe essere tenuto in una modalità mista o da remoto se la situazione sanitaria lo richiedesse. In tal caso questo programma potrebbe essere parzialmente modificato per garantire la possibilità di frequentare il corso e sostenere l'esame.
Basic knowledge in Psychometrics, Psychodynamics, Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology.
At the end of the course the student has:
a) a critical understanding of the elements guiding the selection and use of same psychological tests and diagnostic tools commonly used in clinical, psychotherapeutic and forensic settings;
b) the basic technical skills required to gather, score and interpret the responses to the MMPI-2 and Rorschach tests;
c) a knowledge of the theoretic and clinical elements guiding the case formulation and the feedback to clients on the presented tests in the various application fields.
Collaborative assessment as framework for the diagnostic process and the use of the tests; administering, scoring and principles of interpretation of the MMPI-2 and Rorschach tests; case formulation from testing outcomes and hypotheses of use for the clinical intervention.
The course consists of lectures and practical workshops on the administration, scoring and interpretation of the tests dealt with in the course.
The student can also carry out an exercise, outside the class hours, consisting in the administration of one of the tests of the course and in its transcription, coding, and written interpretation. For those interested, it is possible to fill out the MMPI-2 test and receive their profile anonymously.
The assessment of the objectives achievement takes place through a final written test of two hours, structured in three parts: the first one, rated up to 10 points, consists of the coding of some Rorschach responses; the second one, rated up to 11 points, consist of the interpretation of an MMPI-2 or Rorschach protocol; the third one consists of 5 open-ended questions, each rated up to 2 points, concerning the basic theoretical knowledge of the diagnostic process and the tests covered by the course.
Given the technical and professionalizing nature of the course, it can be attended only by students enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s degree in psychology, as indicated in the Ethical Code of the Italians Psychologists (Article 21).
In order to foster an experiential and not only theoretical learning, it is highly recommended to attend lectures and workshops, although it is not mandatory and necessary for passing the exam. It is also recommended to all students to inspect the materials and manuals of the tests presented during the course at the section of the library reserved for psychological testing.
Non-Italian speaking and non-attending students may contact the instructor to discuss activities and strategies to support learning.
The course could be taught in a blended mode or remotely if the health situation requires it. In this case this syllabus could be partially modified to ensure the possibility of attending the course and taking the exam.
