Educational goals

At the end of the course the student has advanced competences on theoretical and methodological grounds inspiring dynamic psychology. Such a competence is basic for more advanced training and possibilities of getting a job.

Course content

Psychodynamic Theories concerning the Psychopathology of Development. Comparison between psychoanalysis and systemic theories by Bateson about conscious purpose and nature.

Teaching methods

The activity is in part organized by lectures, nevertheless there is a particular attention for developing a dialogue with the students. The students, during the lecture, can interrupt the teacher at any moment, formulating questions and proposals. Lessons could be associated with seminars held by the students, such seminars will be part of the final exams.

Assessment and Evaluation

The quality of the student intervention during the course (particularly the seminars activity they will be involved directly) is the 60% of the academic assessment. At the end of the course, the student must write no more then 20 rows concerning one subject developed during the lectures and the seminars. Synthesis, proper language, text consistency, originality and acquaintance with the subject will be evaluated. This is related to the 40% of the academic assessment.
