Competenza nella lingua francese a livello C1 del Quadro Comune di Riferimento Europeo.
Al termine del modulo, gli studenti hanno acquisito strumenti per la comprensione e l'analisi del francese utilizzato in contesti specialistici con particolare riferimento ai discorsi istituzionali.
Il modulo riguarda l'analisi linguistica di vari generi di discorsi istituzionali (provenienti da organizzazioni pubbliche e ONG). L'attenzione verte in particolare sugli aspetti pragmatici e sulla dimensione dialogica dei discorsi.
La didattica si svolge tramite lezioni frontali, con l'ausilio di strumenti multimediali. Un’attenzione particolare viene posta al confronto e al dialogo diretto con gli studenti. Durante l’anno possono essere richiesti lavori individuali o di gruppo che contribuiscono alla valutazione finale. Gli studenti possono inoltre accedere alle attività di apprendimento linguistico programmate nell'ambito dell’orario settimanale per il loro livello di competenza, nonché alle attività di tutoring previste nel corso dell’anno (vedi Centro Competenza Lingue)
L'esame sul contenuto dell'insegnamento consiste in un colloquio orale. Gli studenti non frequentati rispondono a domande sulla letteratura di riferimento durante l'esame orale finale. Gli studenti frequentati possono in alternativa sostenere una prova intermedia alla fine del semestre vertente sulla parte di programma svolta. Tale parte non sarà oggetto di ulteriore verifica specifica in sede di esame finale. Al fine di iscriversi all'esame parziale saranno messe a disposizione degli studenti frequentanti apposite liste durante le ore di lezione.
La prova intermedia consiste nell'analisi di testi, a scelta degli studenti, corrispondenti a ciascun genere discorsivo studiato durante il corso. Eventuali lavori individuali o di gruppo richiesti durante il semestre contribuiscono alla valutazione finale.
Per accedere all'esame orale finale, gli studenti devono avere superato ogni singolo test scritto o orale di verifica della competenza di livello (vedi Obiettivi formativi). Questi test sono cosi organizzati: Médiation linguistique (resoconto scritto in francese a partire da un documento orale in italiano e vice-versa) + Thème (traduzione dall’italiano al francese con solo dizionario monolingue).
Si raccomanda la consulta delle pagine e-learning del Corso : Lingua francese LM (Prof. Desoutter) e quello delle esercitazioni: Lingua francese C1+/C2 AAL.
Come indicato nelle modalità di verifica, l'accesso all'esame orale sull'insegnamanto avviene previo superamento di tutte le prove scritte di accertamento delle competenze comunicative in lingua francese. Si raccomanda inoltre agli studenti non frequentanti e agli studenti Erasmus di contattare la docente all'inizio del corso.
Proficiency in French at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference
At the end of the module, the student has acquired tools for understanding and analysing French language used in specialised contexts with particular reference to institutional discourse.
The module covers the linguistic analysis of various kinds of institutional discourses (from public organisations and NGOs). The focus is on pragmatic aspects and the dialogical dimension of discourses.
Teaching is conducted through lectures, with the aid of multimedia tools. Particular emphasis is placed on discussion and direct dialogue with the students. Individual or group work may be required during the year and contributes to the final assessment. Students also have access to the language training activities scheduled within the weekly timetable for their level of proficiency, as well as the tutoring activities planned throughout the year (see Language Competence Centre)
The exam consists of an oral interview. Non-attending students answer questions on the relevant literature. Attended students may alternatively present an analysis of texts of their choice corresponding to each discursive genre studied during the course. Any individual or group work required during the semester contributes to the final assessment.
To access the oral examination, students must have passed each of the written proficiency tests (see Learning objectives). These tests are organised as follows: Médiation linguistique (written report in French from an oral document in Italian and vice-versa) + Thème (translation from Italian to French) with monolingual dictionary only.

As indicated in the assessment and evaluation procedures, access to the oral examination on the course is subject to passing all the written examinations for communicative skills in French. For further information on the acquisition of these competences, please refer to the web pages of the Language Competence Centre. It is also recommend to non-attending students and Erasmus students to contact the professor at the beginning of the course.
