Davide Hahn is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering (DIGIP) and at the research Center for Young and Family Enterprise (CYFE) of the University of Bergamo (Italy), where he obtained the Master Degree in Management Engineering. As scholar, he is involved in some international projects (e.g., GUESSS) where he plays an active role. He has also been teaching the course Economics of Technological Change in the Bachelor of Management Engineering (University of Bergamo) since 2018 and has been employed as course assistant in the Strategic Management course of the Master Degree in Management Engineering (University of Bergamo) since 2017. He obtained the doctoral degree in the PhD Program on Economics and Management of Technology offered jointly by the University of Pavia and the University of Bergamo (Italy). His research focuses on the mechanisms that explain how the embeddedness of individuals in the university environment affects their entrepreneurial cognition and innovation capabilities. His research is published in Journal of Management Studies, Small Business Economics, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Journal of Technology Transfer, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal. He contributes as reviewer to many leading entrepreneurship and management journal (e.g., Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Management Decision, R&D Management) and to the annual international conferences, such those organized by the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society.
