I am Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Bergamo. My research interests are in the fields of economics of crime, political economy, law & economics, social interactions and applied economic history. I published, among others, on: American Economic Review, Economic Journal, Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Economic Growth, Economic Policy, Journal of Law & Economics , Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization and Economics of Education Review. My papers have been featured by: Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Il Sole 24 Ore, La Repubblica and Il Corriere della Sera.
