I am full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics of the University of Bergamo. I have obtained my M.Phil and D.Phil in Economics at the University of Oxford.
I am Deputy Director of the Department of Economics and Head of CESC (Centre for Socio-Economic Dynamics and Cooperation). I am also member of SKOPE, Oxford University and of CIRET (InterUniversity Research Centre Ezio Tarantelli)
My research interests are in applied economics, especially in the fileds of Labour Economics, Macroeconomics, Household Consumption and housing wealth, and the Space Economy.
My current research topics include: intergenerational occupational mobility, household consumption and inequality, cooperatives and the business cylces, nonlinearities in the Phillips curve, social habits and COVID-19 spread and mortality.
