I am full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics, University of Bergamo. I have obtained my M.Phil and D.Phil in Economics at the University of Oxford.
I am currently Vice Chancellor for Welfare and Sustainable Development and Deputy Director of the Department of Economics. I am also member of SKOPE, Oxford University and of the Inter-University Research Centre Ezio Tarantelli (CIRET)
My research interests are in applied economics, especially in the fileds of Labour Economics, Macroeconomics, Household Consumption and housing wealth, and the Space Economy.
My current research topics include: household consumption and debt, gender stereotypes and school performance, intergenerational occupational mobility, nonlinearities in the Phillips curve, social habits in the post-pandemic.
