I joined University of Bergamo in 2018 as Associate Professor. I completed a PhD in Sociology and Political Systems at University of Parma and previously worked at University of Bologna, University of Molise, St George’s - University of London, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
My research has focused on narratives of ageing, race-based inequalities in physical and mental health, reception of forced migrants, use and perceptions of emergency contraceptives, university dropout biographies. I am working on and with creative participatory methods, particularly with arts and objects based techniques, and on the involvement of non-academic audiences in research.
I co-founded Creative Methods Open Lab https://creativemethodsopenlab.org/
